Iranian calligrapher’s impressive works have gone on display at an exhibition in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Iranian calligrapher’s impressive works have gone on display at an exhibition in The Hague, the Netherlands.

The calligraphic works showcased at Laaktheater in The Hague were created by Iran artist Mohammad Asghari.

According to a media report, the exhibition had a good reception in the Netherlands.

The works on display included poems and deep sentences written in Nastaliq and Shekasteh (broken) Nastaliq writing styles.

Nastaliq script is the predominant style of Persian calligraphy during the 15th and 16th centuries.
